Project Engineers – Logistics
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.
The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.
Vacancies currently exist for Project Engineers – Logistics to join the Project.
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
The Gorgon Logistics team has a requirement for large number of assets (vessels, berths, barges, etc) to be mobilised in the domestic supply chain over the next 6 months. This Project Engineers will be responsible for assisting in the delivery these assets to the project in accordance with schedule. The timely mobilisation of the additional logistics assets are critical to achieving the Barrow Islandconstruction schedule.
Job Description:
- Working under the direction of the Project Manager, provide project coordination services to facilitate the delivery of the assets
- Drafting and expediting, through the CVX and KJV approval system, all necessary Management of Change and Contract Change documentation
- Provision daily and weekly status reports to the PM
- Interfacing with all areas of the Gorgon project KJV team and CVX team to ensure the timely implementation of the assets
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years oil and gas experience. Need to understand the basic orgisational processes and structure of delivering an EPC project.
- Very competent in Microsoft Office programmes - eg Excel, Powerpoint, etc
- Clear communicator (written & verbal)
