Human Resources Advisor
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.
The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.
Vacancies currently exist for a Human Resources Advisor to join the Project.
In order to be considered for this role, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- The Human Resources Advisor provides support to all levels of the project on Barrow Island in a broad range of HR activities.
- Previous HR experience at Officer/Advisor level
- HR experience dealing with Site-related issues
- Solid understanding of HR administrative processes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, build relationships and provide HR advice to Line Managers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills to be able to multi-task and prioritise numerous activities
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills
This role will be based on Barrow Island with a 20 day / 10 day rotation.
