Civil & Concrete Inspector
Job Description:
- Substantial experience in routine surveillance of Civil & concreting activities.
- Inspection of works in progress to ensure compliance with project specified requirements.
- Ensure effective implementation of ITPs & FIC’s by the Contractor and Client attendance at Witness and Hold points.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years hands on experience dealing with concreting activities on major construction projects
- Experience in the installation of concrete X-blocks and large concrete caissons in a marine environment.
- Working knowledge of international codes and Australian standards related to pre-fabricated concrete structures, and the installation of large concrete pads suitable for LNG Tanks and other large modules.
Deputy Site Manager Quality
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Deputising for the site Quality manager when required.
- Support and contribute to the Incident Injury Free (IIF) philosophy and program.
- Monitoring project site work by review, audit and observation for compliance to the Project Execution Plan, Engineering and construction management plans, Project Quality Plan and Quality Management System procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

HSEQ Deputy Industrial Hygienist
Job Description:
- The HESQ Deputy Industrial Hygienist (IH) is a key member of the Barrow Island HESQ function, reporting directly to the HESQ Industrial Hygienist. The HESQ Deputy Industrial Hygienist must possess industrial related hygiene skills to provide support to Client, Contractors and their subcontractors.
- The Deputy IH will perform a range of monitoring activities and provide IH advice to Contracts and Procurement functions and Field HESQ team on Barrow Island and associated Marine activities.
- The Deputy IH will perform a range of IH activities in a Class A nature reserve
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Hygiene or related discipline
- Senior level position with broad technical and HESQ skills with in-depth working knowledge of project construction operations
- Full member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists
HSEQ Project Engineer
Job Description:
- The HES Project Engineer is a key member of the project team and a central figure within the HESQ function, reporting directly to the HESQ Technical Support Manager. The HES Project Engineer must possess the HES skills to provide technical support to Client, Contractors and their subcontractors.
- The HES Project Engineer will provide technical HES advice to Construction HESQ teams on Barrow Island, Coordinate the projects HES Performance Reporting Program including statistical, and trend analysis.
- The HES Engineer must possess broad project construction experience including Contract evaluation and assessment prior to contract award.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering degree
- Senior level position with broad technical and HES skills with in-depth working knowledge of project management and construction operations
- Significant working experience in systems energization, commissioning and start-up
QC Administration Assistant
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Responsible for day to day site office administration duties within the Quality team, these include but not limited to;
- Record keeping, data gathering, statistics, report writing, filing, scanning, archiving & scribing meeting minutes
- Maintenance of the various systems and data bases to support coordination of the site Quality group.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Track record of general administration on significant construction projects.
- Familiarity with the range of systems and procedures including office software packages.
- Able to establish and maintain complex spread sheets, databases and records for the purpose of controlling and managing site Quality activities.
Quarantine Data Clerk
The specific duties, tasks and responsibilities of this short term temporary position include:
- Record quarantine inspections, treatments, clearances and other matters detailed in the quarantine procedures relevant to the particular location and associated activities.
- Record and input information on quarantine inspections and compliance issues into a Project specific database.
- Collect and collate data for reporting on quarantine activities, performance and non-conformance.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a high PC literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook and other office programs.

Senior Environmental Specialist
Job Description:
- Coordinate the development of the Construction phase Environmental Management System
- Provide environmental training and advice to the team involved in the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System
- Coordinate the preparation of technical documents required for procurement bid packages.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Environmental Management Systems and at least 7 years of post-graduate environmental management experience
- Demonstrable experience with development and implementation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Plans.
Senior HES Advisor – Construction

- The HES Advisor - Construction is a specialist member of the BWI LNG construction team and must possess the skills to provide H&S tactical leadership and direction to Contractor LNG H&S construction team.
- The role is the H&S focal point for H&S matters including general construction safety with particular emphasis on construction activities. This includes the provision of specialist and technical H&S advice and guidance and ensures Construction operations are carried out safely and effectively.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Senior HES level position with broad technical and HES skills with in-depth working knowledge of Construction operations

Senior HES Advisor – Risk Management

Senior Paint & Insulation Inspector
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Providing assistance and direction to Paint and Insulations Inspectors on BWI.
- Assist Contractor with implementing and maintaining effective quality control on all blasting, Painting & Insulation activities.
- Regularly inspect works in progress to ensure compliance with project specified requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years experience as a Paint and Insulation Inspector (including 3 years) as Senior on major construction projects.
- Experience in the blast preparation and painting of steel structures designed for marine environments - internationally recognised coating inspection qualifications (BGAS-CSWIP Level1,NACE Coating Inspection CIP Level 2&3, ACA recognised Coating Inspector.)
