Lead Project Engineer
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.
The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.
Vacancies currently exist for a Lead Project Engineer to join the Project.
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- All project engineering aspects of maintenance and revamp/upgrade projects assigned to the Site Engineering Team including production of Scopes and SI’s for the temporary facilities and LNG Plant facility
- Liaise with Technical Engineers, Construction Engineers, and ATSMs as required for technical support.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
- 15+ years of engineering experience of which 7+ are field experience in support of construction
- Ability to build effective working relationships across a multi-functional and multi-cultural organization
- Experience with Australian and international codes and standards applicable to this project
- Experience working with an integrated (owner / contractor) team is desirable
- Engineering management experience desirable
- Understanding of and commitment to leading and implementing the IIF (Incident and Injury Free)
This is a site based role offering 20 day / 10 day rotation.
