The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.

The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.

The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.

The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.

Vacancies currently exist for Contracts Administrators to join the Project.

In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:

  • Update Contracts Register and the marked up extracts which need changing, setting up correct letter heads, ear-marking filing cabinets, filing accumulated loose documents
  • Prepare a CAS and shepherd it through the sign-offs if there is money due to the contractor and a Variation Order is required.
  • Prepare the Final Contract Variation letter.
  • Prepare a Certificate of Final Completion and Close Out letters
  • Monitor with accounts payable that any final payment and/or release of retention is made according to the timing in the contract.
  • Leave note on files of the end of the Warranty period and any further retention or bank guarantee to be released (and where the bank guarantees are held.
  • Add appropriate columns to the Contracts Register tracking the status of each stage of close out
  • Prepare a Certificate of Final Completion and a Close Out letters.
  • Current and ongoing Contracts/Agreements
  • Keep in touch with the respective project managers
  • Assist CA in monitoring and liaising with Chevron

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Up to 3 years contract administration experience in construction or commercial
  • Competent in use of computer systems and software
  • High degree of literacy.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Should be undertaking study in relevant field (Engineer, Project Management or Quantity Surveying or be able to demonstrate relevant advanced technical and commercial aptitude).
  • To have experience in either consultancy (EPCM) and contractor roles.

This is a site based role offering 20 day / 10 day rotation.
