Supervisor Crushing Plant & Stockpile
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.
The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.
Vacancies currently exist for a Supervisor Crushing Plant & Stockpile N/S to join the Project.
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
Job Description:
Instrumental in the development and implementation of the scope associated with the Civil Works, assisting with preparation of contractor’s mobilisation plans and subsequent on site management of the contractor.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Report to the General Superintendent.
- Participation in ongoing constructability reviews.
- Support development of the final site prep methodology, work prioritisation and the like.
- Work closely with the General Superintendent in defining scope, schedule, management of interfaces etc.
- Assist in preparation of the detailed construction schedule for assigned areas.
- Support contractor in maximizing performance and progress, and other associated works as directed by site management.
- On Barrow Island: - Reporting to the General Superintendent, who in turn reports to the Area Construction Manager LNG Infrastructure. Responsible for the implementation of the full scope of works for the Site Prep Contract.
- Management, in assigned areas, of all field erection and installation supervision including safety, quality, labour relations and productivity, manpower planning, construction equipment planning and usage, coordination of the work of the various crafts, waste management, and adherence to work plans and schedule.
- Manage the Construction completion and the handover of appropriate quality control documentation and as built mark ups to the Assistant Technical Services Manager.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive Construction Experience on Civil Projects from Grass Roots to Handover, computer literate.
- Good people skills, IIF values in place
- Good overall experience.
This role will be based at Barrow Island and offers a 20 day / 10 day rotation.
