Civil Engineer
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.
The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.
Vacancies currently exist for Civil Engineer to join the Project.
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Develop construction phase stromwater manament system for the Gorgon LNG site on Barrow Island
- The position will require experience in storm water general drainage design including surface and underground piping
- Knowledgeable with hydrology and hydraulics related to storm water drainage, pressure and non pressure pipes and open drains
- Experience with pumping systems including pump sizing and selection
- Practical experience with material selection for civil engineering works
- Software: MS Excel, Word required. Bentley CivilStorm is a bonus.
- Some travel to site will be required
