Piping Supervisor

The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.

The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.

The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.

The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.

Vacancies currently exist for a Piping Supervisor to join the Project.

In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Field Supervision of piping activities conducted by Utilities installation Contractor
  • Pipe Fitting field craft including fabrication, installation, testing and all aspects of supervision and inspection to drawing/specification.
  • Reporting to the General Superintendent Civil & Structural, who in turn reports to the Area Manager LNG Infrastructure.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Piping engineering capability including field technical resolution and as-building.
  • This role will be a site based at Barrow Island and offers a 20 day / 10 day rotation.
