Civil Supervisor – Buildings

The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.

The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.

The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.

The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.

Vacancies currently exist for a Civil Supervisor – Buildings to join the Project.

In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:

  • Management of interfaces internal and external to the worksite
  • Conduct safety supervision of the work site.
  • Provide construction supervision for earthworks and concrete work. and ensures it is executed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Support contractor in maximizing performance and progress, and other associated works as directed by site management by assisting with planning and execution.
  • Monitor progress against schedule and provide updates on construction activities to Civil Superintendent and Area Construction Manager..
  • Assist with and sign off on QA documentation.
  • Manage Day works as required and assist in Change Management.
  • Manage the Construction completion and the handover of appropriate quality control documentation and as built mark ups to the Assistant Technical Services Manager.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced in service installations/earthworks and concrete work.
  • Pervious experienced in a multi-discipline EPCM team
  • Proven supervisory skills.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Computer skills in Outlook, Word and Excel.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preparation of reports.
  • Conducting TSTO and TSTO sessions, with JHA capability.
  • Plant operation and maintenance training.

This role will be based at Barrow Island and offers a 20 day / 10 day rotation.
