Area Construction Manager - General Services
- In order to be considered for this role, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Instrumental in the development and implementation of the scope associated with the OSBL Works, assisting with preparation of contractor’s mobilisation plans and subsequent on site management of contractor.
- Provide leadership support for the safety and accident prevention.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Management, in assigned areas, of all field erection and installation supervision including safety, quality, labour relations and productivity, manpower planning, construction equipment planning and usage, coordination of the work of the various crafts, waste management, and adherence to work plans and schedule.
- Manage the Construction completion and the handover of appropriate quality control documentation and as built mark ups to the Assistant Technical Services Manager.
- Must be able to operate independently and communicate with management to regularly update progress and confirm direction when needed.
Civil Engineer
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Develop construction phase stromwater manament system for the Gorgon LNG site on Barrow Island
- The position will require experience in storm water general drainage design including surface and underground piping
- Knowledgeable with hydrology and hydraulics related to storm water drainage, pressure and non pressure pipes and open drains
- Experience with pumping systems including pump sizing and selection
- Practical experience with material selection for civil engineering works
- Software: MS Excel, Word required. Bentley CivilStorm is a bonus.
- Some travel to site will be required
Civil Supervisor – Buildings
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Management of interfaces internal and external to the worksite
- Conduct safety supervision of the work site.
- Provide construction supervision for earthworks and concrete work. and ensures it is executed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experienced in service installations/earthworks and concrete work.
- Pervious experienced in a multi-discipline EPCM team
- Proven supervisory skills.
Civil/Structural Engineer
The Civil/Structural Engineer is required to support the construction group for design review, constructability, and installation of civil and structural works for the Gorgon project at Barrow Island. The Civil/Structural Engineer will be part of Technical group responsible for Infrastructure works and follow-on into Permanent LNG Facility.
- Report to Site Engineering Manager on day to day basis for all construction issues.
- Consult with Assistant Technical Services Manager (ATSM) for any technical issue.
- Responsible for design and assurance of installation of civil and structural components for the assigned area.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering Degree or Equivalent
- On Site Construction experience
- Experience in Australian & other International Codes and Standards applicable to this project.
Concrete Materials Engineers
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Supervision of Concrete Batching Plant and aggregates.
- Carrying out and participating in meetings both internal and with contractor.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Skill certification in Civil construction
- Previous experience in the supervision of large scale civil projects
- Team player
- Good Communicator both verbally and written
Construction Engineer – Piping
In order to be considered for this role, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Construction Engineering functions at Barrow Island relating to Piping disciplines
- Raising and answering RFI, Site Queries and Technical Queries.
- Carrying out and participating in meetings both internal and with contractor
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or Higher Certificate in Piping Engineering
- Team player
- Good Communicator both verbally and written
Electrical Supervisor
Job Description:
- Oversee Site Contractor during construction phase.
- Coordinate construction foreman.
- Provide safety monitoring/leadership.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 10 plus years experience in TE&I Construction.
- At least 5 plus years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental issues in the workplace.
- QA/QC experience.
LNG Tanks Engineer
Job Description:
The LNG Tank Engineer is required to support the construction group for design review, constructability, and installation of mechanical / civil and structural works for the Gorgon project at Barrow Island.
The LNG Tank Engineer will be part of Technical group responsible for Infrastructure works and follow-on into Permanent LNG Facility.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Mechanical, Civil or Equivalent Engineering degree
- On Site Construction experience with LNG and Condensate Tanks (> 10 years)
- Experience in Australian & other International Codes and Standards applicable to this project.
Piping Engineer Marine Construction
Job Description:
- Provide technical support to dredging operations and other marine and piping related works as designated
- Review effectiveness and safety of marine construction work in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Verify compliance with construction documents, including safety standards, by monitoring project progress, onsite construction inspections, calculations and placements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- B.S degree or equivalent
- Good command of English language both written and oral
- 6 years relevant experience on large marine projects.
- Knowledge of Industry practices
Piping Supervisor
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Field Supervision of piping activities conducted by Utilities installation Contractor
- Pipe Fitting field craft including fabrication, installation, testing and all aspects of supervision and inspection to drawing/specification.
- Reporting to the General Superintendent Civil & Structural, who in turn reports to the Area Manager LNG Infrastructure.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Piping engineering capability including field technical resolution and as-building.
- This role will be a site based at Barrow Island and offers a 20 day / 10 day rotation.
