Maintenance Specialist
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.
The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.
Vacancies currently exist for a Maintenance Specialist to join the Project.
In order to be considered for these roles, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Supervises the maintenance craft personnel and/or contractors in the performance of routine and turnaround maintenance work activities
- Assists Operations and Maintenance Management in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
- Recommends to Maintenance Management, equipment repairs, including selection of craft technicians to perform work assignments
- Reviews vendor data and recommends spare part requirements
- Reviews repair orders as to skill, material, loads and methods required; estimates time and manpower requirements
- Assists in implementing the On-the-Job Training Program for personnel assigned to this area
- Responsible for execution and quality of maintenance work that is performed in the Plant area
- Develops work plans and Repair Procedures to ensure work is performed in accordance with good maintenance practice
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- LNG facility pre-commissioning / commissioning maintenance
This role will be based at Barrow Island and offers a 20 day / 10 day rotation.
