Insurance Advisor
The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project, currently under construction, is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource project.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon, an unincorporated joint venture between KBR, JGC Corporation, Hatch and Clough, is the Gorgon Project's downstream engineering, procurement and construction management contractor.
The downstream scope of work for the Project includes the construction of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, LNG storage and load-out facilities including a jetty, utilities, a materials offloading facility, a domestic gas processing plant and a construction village.
The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is a dynamic global team of around 2,500 people in 17 locations in seven countries. As we move further into the construction phase, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team.
Vacancies currently exist for an Insurance Advisor to join the Project.
In order to be considered for this role, we are looking for the following skills and expertise:
- Maintain potential claims register
- Review insurance certificates and endorsements
- Advise Project on adequacy of insurance profile
- Source suitable insurance where required
- Review and advise on insurance Clauses in Implementation Contracts, Consultant Agreements and other vendor agreements.
- Provide insurance advice to KJV on claims
- Drafting & presenting presentations and training on insurance.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in contract / construction law and insurance
- Experience in Claims prevention & management
- Capable of working independently
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering / Construction project experience in insurance
- Legal qualification or LLB
